Mega-regions

This project explores the emergence of the region as the world moves beyond the nation-state. We are developing new maps and indicators of global population, economic activity and innovation for the world’s mega and metro-regions. It is the first project to develop systematic global indicators at the sub-national level for the entire world. It will also consider the role of the mega-region in the global economy and governance structures and related issues for these regions.
